We collect as little data as possible: only what we need to reply to you and to know how many people visit the website.
Who is responsible for your data?
Jean and Agnès Meissimilly, 115 rue des Aiguillettes, hameau de la Clapière, 05600 Ceillac. Email: lameissimilliere@orange.fr.
The contact form
When you write to us, we receive the information you enter:
- your name and email address (required);
- your phone number and postcode or town (optional);
- your message.
It is used only to answer your enquiry or booking request. It is sent to us by email and is not stored on the website. It is never sold or passed on.
We keep our correspondence for no more than three years after our last contact. If you rent La Meissimillière, the information needed for the rental is kept for as long as our legal and accounting obligations require.
Visitor statistics
To know how many people visit the website and where they come from, we use Burst Statistics, installed on our own website. It works without cookies and sends nothing to any outside service. It tells us, for example, the number of visits, the pages viewed, the website you came from and your country. We use these figures only to improve the website.
Cookies
This website uses no advertising or audience-measurement cookies, which is why it shows no consent banner. It sets a single cookie, needed for it to work:
- pll_language: remembers the language you chose (French, English or Italian), for one year.
People who manage the website also receive WordPress login cookies.
The map
The access map uses OpenStreetMap map tiles. To display them, your browser downloads them from the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s servers, which therefore receive your IP address. How they are used is described in the OpenStreetMap Foundation’s privacy policy. Fonts, on the other hand, are hosted on our own website.
Where is the data hosted?
The website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd (Cyprus). The server is located in Paris, France.
Your rights
You can at any time access your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict its use, and obtain a copy. Just write to us at lameissimilliere@orange.fr or by post to the address above.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (the French data protection authority): www.cnil.fr.
